1,000 EDUCATION DREAMS FOR ORPHANS IN KIBERA SLUM

GIVE THE LIFE TRANSFORMING OPPORTUNITY FOR A HOLISTIC EDUCATION

The average income in Kibera is less than $2 per day.  The Global One Center for Holistic Education welcomes orphans or students from families of greatest need in Kibera - those caregivers and parents who truly struggle to support their children and are living in extreme poverty.  Support the evolutionary, developmentally fostering education context at the Global One Kibera Schools.

The average household consists of 4-8 people within a 10 ft x 10 ft (3.04 m x 3.04 m) home.

Parent or extended family caregiver daily income present the greatest challenge improving education standards which are critical for improving literacy, community coherence, ethical consciousness, early childhood pregnancy, girls advancement, and reducing circular poverty.

The cost of tuition fees, uniform, shoes, textbooks, school bag, and other needs is a constant challenge for parents, especially single parents.

Many children cannot attend government education centers and so become idle at a critical developmental ages. The cost of education competes with life essentials of Kibera rent, meal planning, electricity, phone, toilet and shower rental fees, and water expense.
